Bryan Carr ATCL Dip. is Director of the Bryan Carr School of Performing Arts since 2008 and has been teaching singing in Kerry since 2002 with Tralee, Listowel, Killarney Stage Schools. BCSPA studios are based at Collis Sandes House Oakpark in Tralee. Classes run each Saturday during School terms from 11am - 2pm for Primary Students and 2pm - 5pm for Post-Primary. Classes are covered in Singing, Dance and Acting with registered and certified teachers. We present two Licenced Junior Musicals annually at Siamsa Tire Theatre in Tralee as well as group class exams. So why not jump up on our stage and register now.
COVID-19 NOTE: Due to Covid-19 Class times and numbers have changed with classes now running for a 2 hr or 2hr 30 Min slot. We will confirm your childs times and class schedule once you have registered.
From November 1st 2020 North Kerry Arts, Cultural & Heritage Society Ltd a Voluntary run Charitable organisation agreed through their NK Arts Youth Theatre company to officially take over the running of the Stage School throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic situation; This is to ensure stability in classes and in keeping with guidance from NYCI and informed by the Government’s Resilience & Recovery 2020-2021: Plan for Living with COVID-19 (18 September 2020) and Section 3 of the Youth Work Act 2001.
YOUTH WORK is A planned programme of education designed for the purpose of aiding and enhancing the personal and social development of young people through their voluntary involvement, and which is complementary to their formal, academic or vocational education and training and provided primarily by voluntary youth work organisations.
Fees vary from €5 to €5.66 per hr or €15 to €17 per day depending on number of children etc.
